1sqkm area of Shibuya rendered with Path Tracer in Unreal engine.
Made during a period of 6 months. Includes over 400 buildings and over 500 props. All the signs are fictional and there's 900+ of them.
Everything modeled in 3ds Max, textured with Substance painter & Photoshop, signs made with Affinity Designer and rendered in Unreal Engine. Some environments were scanned with Polycam and used as a reference for the modeling. Only driectly used scanned element is the retopologized Hachiko Statue.
Optimized for real-time usage. Most buildings are 2000-3000 vertices bar some exceptions.
